About the city
Bukhara is a museum city with an intact medieval centre. The Kalyan minaret, the Poi Kalyan ensemble, Lyabi-Hauz square, the Ark fortress and the covered trading domes lie along one walking route.
An hour and a half by train from Samarkand.
